«Tree Story»

For ART-O-RAMA 2013, Italian gallery Pinksummer will present a group show based on the image and the imagery of the tree, a general theme that turned out to be representative of the diversity of their proposals by embodying at the same time the unity of the artists they represent as a gallery.

In spite of the variety of their research and of the media on display, the gallery’s choice is the evidence of some kind of recurring attraction for the rhizomatic structures of trunks and branches, that goes beyond the mere dialectic relationship between nature and culture or the archetypical value of the tree itself.

After all, the exhibition concept is pivoting on the complexity of reality and how its experience might be disguised by the appeal of fractal structures in its ambiguity and unpredictable occurrence.
